your first visit guide

Introduction

Your Therapist will greet you and escort you to our treatment area.  Your first visit will be about 60-minutes in length.

One-On-One

Your Therapist will review your pet’s medical history with you to clarify anything, or to ask more in-depth questions.  You and your therapist will have a private discussion about your pet’s current symptoms.  You will have an opportunity to talk about any other relevant information.

Examination

In order to properly assess your pet, your Therapist will want to be able to do a hands-on assessment of your pet. If your pet is uncomfortable with this approach, we can discuss hands-off options as well as the use of protective equipment to ensure both your pet and our therapist’s safety.

Treatment Options

After the examination, your Therapist will discuss their findings with you.  Together you will develop a treatment plan based on your goals for your pet.  The plan will outline the frequency of treatments required to reach these goals. You can expect the treatment to begin the day of the initial assessment.
